Fon Wang joined John Milner Architects in 2021 as Senior Project Manager. Fon has over 20 years of experience working in the public and private sector, specializing in preservation and adaptive reuse through practice, academics, and public service. Prior to joining JMA, Fon was the Director of Historic Preservation at Ballinger and a Principal of UCI Architects, Inc. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Fon is a lecturer for University of Pennsylvania Program in Historic Preservation, has served as a guest lecturer for Temple University and Drexel University, and has served on both the Philadelphia's Mayoral Preservation Task Force and the Board of the Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia. She is currently on the steering committee of the Design Advocacy Group and Cultural Resources Committee for FRES. Her accomplishments include the 2018 Preservation Alliance Grand Jury Award, the Young Architect Award for AIA Philadelphia, and 40 under 40 by the Philadelphia Business Journal. In her free time, she enjoys urban gardening and spending time with her husband, two kids and infamous dog whom everyone knows by name in the neighborhood.
