Built in 1929 overlooking Rittenhouse Square, the Barclay was the most sophisticated hotel in center-city Philadelphia. The building was converted to luxury condominiums in 2000. This project involved the conversion of four former hotel suites into an elegant single family residence. New floor plan arrangements were created, the original parquet floors were restored, interior spaces were redesigned with classically inspired woodwork and decorative plaster features, and all mechanical systems were replaced. |
