Before

Our clients wished to create a new residential community for their native city in northeastern China, and were intrigued by the Georgian and Federal architecture found in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Our firm designed two prototype urban residences to serve as inspiration for future phases of the project, incorporating finely detailed brick facades and interior spaces with proportions and woodwork based on classical “western” design precedent. In addition to designing the buildings, our firm was engaged to fully furnish one of the residences including furniture, fabrics, accessories, artwork and lighting.
