Before

Designed in the Mediterranean Revival style in 1915 by Philadelphia architects Day and Klauder, this “villa” in a garden setting has been restored and renovated as the residence of an active young family. Inappropriate later additions were removed and interior spaces were sensitively modified to create more open circulation. Significant architectural features were preserved and the living spaces were infused with decorative painted surfaces, stenciling, bas-relief sculptures, decoupage, fabrics and unique light fixtures.
