Before

Designed by architect Horace Wells Sellers, this residence on Philadelphia’s Main Line was restored, selectively modified and expanded consistent with the aesthetic and functional principles of the Arts and Crafts movement. Period details and finishes were preserved and renewed, a new kitchen and family room were created, and an indoor swimming pool was built in a position convenient to the informal gathering areas.  Exterior restoration work included the preservation and conservation of the original stucco exterior finish and the repair of the original graduated slate roof and pent roofs. Terraces and gardens were redesigned and expanded to reflect modern living.
