After having completed a detailed assessment and restoration program for the building twenty years earlier, our firm was invited for a return engagement by a new client to guide the exterior conservation and rehabilitation of this historic Art Deco landmark. The Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Company Building, constructed in 1926, occupies a prominent location on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. Now renamed the Perelman Building, the structure houses the Modern Art galleries and executive offices for the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
