With its origins in the 18th century, this historic church near Valley Forge is designated as a National Historic Landmark. A master plan for the historic 18-acre property was developed and included new sanctuary, education and fellowship buildings. The first phase of the master plan to be implemented was the new Fellowship Building, which was designed to serve the congregational and community outreach needs of this rural parish. The universal building type—the American Barn— facilitated the incorporation of large, open and multi-purpose spaces, and settles comfortably into this important agrarian landscape. |
