The original late-nineteenth century house was restored, adapted and modestly expanded as a seasonal residence on the eastern shore of the town of Sconset on the island of Nantucket, MA. The most dramatic feature of the facade is the broad verandah which captures splendid ocean views. The interiors were modified to join contiguous spaces on the first floor and improve the bedrooms on the second floor. A new two-bedroom guest house was designed for the property, consistent with the rigorous local design guidelines.
