Scott O’Barr joined John Milner Architects in 2006 as a Registered Architect with a devotion to traditional residential design. As a Senior Associate of the firm, Scott develops initial design concepts and leads projects through the design development, construction documentation and contract administration phases. Scott received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee and has continued his education through the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA), where he received the Edward Vason Jones Prize for the Rome Drawing & Painting Tour. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he has experience working in Memphis, Annapolis, Maryland and Washington, D.C. His designs have been published in New Old House, Period Homes and Architectural Digest. Scott currently serves as a board member of ICAA Philadelphia Chapter and Friends of Lemon Hill. He is a past director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and AIA Pennsylvania.
