Catherine Subick joined John Milner Architects in 1993 as an architectural conservator. Catherine collaborates with project team members to assess the nature and condition of architectural materials and components, identify the causes and extent of deterioration and research and recommend appropriate intervention procedures. Her previous experience includes building and materials assessment, document preparation and project administration. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Catherine holds Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech University in building construction and finance. A lifelong interest in architecture and history brought her to the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree, with a focus on architectural conservation. Prior to pursuing her graduate studies, Catherine was employed as an assistant project engineer at a construction firm in Princeton, New Jersey, where she was involved in estimating, scheduling and project administration. She is a member of the Association for Preservation Technology, Northeast Chapter and actively volunteers with the Girl Scouts of America.
