Catherine Subick joined John Milner Architects in 1993 as an Architectural Conservator and was named Senior Associate in 2025. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Cathy received dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Virginia Tech in Building Construction and Finance. A lifelong interest in architecture and history brought her to the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Master's Degree in Historic Preservation with a focus on architectural conservation. Prior to pursuing her graduate studies, Cathy was employed as an assistant project engineer at Gilbane Building Company in Princeton, New Jersey, where she was involved in estimating, scheduling, and project administration. At JMA, she collaborates with project team members to assess the nature and condition of architectural materials and components, identify the causes and extent of deterioration, and research and recommend appropriate intervention procedures. She is a member of the Association for Preservation Technology, Northeast Chapter and actively volunteers with the East Coventry Township Historical Commission.
